This listing is for a new find of Dioptase In Quartz which has been tumbled and found at the Messina Mine, South Africa.Dioptase in Quartz (with tiny tiny tiny traces of Papagoite). Recent works at the mine dumps of the World renowned Messina Mine has turned up this material. Chemical analysis has shown that within the Quartz matrix there is Dioptase and in some Papagoite, the Papagoite is in tiny tiny tiny quantities and in most pieces CANNOT be seen but is held within the Quartz.This lovely tumblestone weighs approximately 17.0 grams and measurements taken at the widest points measure approximately 29 mm x 17 mm x 15 mm.
