Wollastonite, Garnet, Diopside rock, fluorescent. Sweden. 734 grams.

SHORT WAVE and LONG WAVE UV Attractive good sized specimen of a Skarn type rock consisting of massive Garnet, Wollastonite, Diopside and minor Quartz?. Use a hand lens to see some really great crystal details including the blue/green Diopside crystals. Very interesting specimen which the minerals are easy to discern, the Garnet makes up the bulk of the rock and is brown in color, the Diopside is also widespread and and is a teal color, and the Wollastonite is cream/white in color and fibrous in crystal form. Also the purple mineral which I did not notice until I was photographing it, unsure of what it is, I don't think Fluorite but could be some Amethyst? I didn't test it since its in tough to get to spot and is fairly small. The Wollastonite fluoresces orange under short wave and a cream under long wave (not pictured). I am not certain what fluoresces green. From Grönsjöberget, Borlänge, Dalarna County, Sweden. 734 grams. 5-1/4" length. I can combine shipping with other items. NOTE!I used a 254nm short wave lamp for my UV images.
