About Me
I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, emotional regulation challenges, grief, identity exploration, and life transitions. I support clients in gently exploring their emotions, patterns, and inner experiences so they can move toward greater clarity, balance, and self-understanding. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), with over 7 years of clinical experience across India and Canada. Working across diverse settings and cultures has deepened my understanding of how personal history, family systems, culture, and lived experience shape the way people experience distress and healing.
Healing happens in spaces where people feel safe, seen, and respected. That is the foundation of my work. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and culturally responsive, and I am LGBTQIA+ affirming. I draw from Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, parts-informed work, mindfulness-based and compassion-focused approaches, and experiential methods such as Sandtray Therapy. I tailor therapy to each client’s needs and pace, always prioritizing safety and collaboration.
I also offer walk-and-talk therapy for clients who feel more grounded through movement and connection with nature, and I provide sessions in both English and Hindi for those who feel more comfortable expressing themselves in their native language.
At Choosing To Heal, I aim to create a supportive space where clients feel empowered to reflect, grow, and reconnect with themselves, moving forward with greater emotional ease, resilience, and self-compassion.
