What is group therapy?
Group therapy at Choosing to Heal brings together 6-8 adults in a safe, confidential space facilitated by registered psychotherapists to share experiences, build skills, and heal collectively. Sessions last 90 minutes and focus on themes like anxiety, relationships, or healing from inner wounds/ trauma using evidence-informed approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, and interpersonal process work.​
How do I join a group?

What are the fees and insurance?
90-minute sessions cost 60 CAD per person. Many plans cover registered psychotherapy; submit receipts post-session. Virtual options available province-wide.​
Is it confidential and safe?
Yes—facilitators uphold CRPO standards with strict confidentiality (except imminent harm). Groups co-create agreements for respect, cultural sensitivity, and non-judgment.​
